Thanks for your usual comprehensive and thoughtful review.
At last we have a simple, well designed and safe solution for those of us who combine photography with trekking. No longer do I need to stop and get the camera out of the bag and then race to catch up with the rest of the group. It is now clamped to my backpack strap.

I was wondering if you had any luck using your CapturePro with the L-Brackets since you wrote this post. From what I’ve read online it only works with their arca-compatible plate.

I actually haven’t really used the CapturePro with my L-Brackets. Whenever I use this system I have been removing the L-Bracket first.
