Two of my favourite photographers on one show! Great to hear the two of you discussing Christian’s work (can I say art?!), and very excited to hear about Christian’s exhibition. Congratulations, Christian – very well deserved. (Let me know if you progress the Arcanum cohort reunion.)

Hi Andy! Good to hear from you. I hope you are well.
I am all in for an Arcanum reunion hangout at some point. It will be challenging to get a hold on Martin as he is so busy. Maybe we could make it happen in March/April. I think I might reach out to all the other members and ask what they think about the idea.

I’m pleased you enjoyed this Ulana.

I’ve been thinking about you a lot this week, as I just got back from a few days at the Meotoiwa in Mie Prefecture. I know you have a lovely shot of it. I’ve been hoping to get down there for a while, and finally made the time for a visit this week. It was fun, and I timed my visit for a full moon yesterday, so I got a nice variation of shots.

Thank you Martin. I saw a couple of those images on Facebook. They connected with nature very strongly. Even the one with the waves.

      Thank you, Ulana.
Somehow you successfully evaded my radar. But no more. I just checked your website and there are some amazing images on there. Fantastic work! I will be following you from now on. See you around!

Martin – Loved this podcast. Christian is a terrific photographer and a very good podcast guest. He is new to me and thank you for introducing him. The “Confusing” and Echo series were eye-openers and thought provoking. It’s a treat in a time when we tend to look at photographs for portions of a second before pushing the “next” arrow to see ones that really stop you and make you think. Hopefully, Christian will one day have a show in the U.S. so we can see his originals.

I’m really pleased you enjoyed this conversation Dave. I’ve long respected Christian for his work and philosophy. He’s modest yet very talented, and a pleased to converse with. Easter eggs are great, right?

I also agree, there is scope for Christian taking his show around the world.

      Regards,
      Martin.
