This is the exact same set of pixel I posted the other day, but rotated by 90°. Fascinating how this simply act can change just about everything in this picture. There's more on www.chm-photography.com.

Posted at 21:57h, 12 DecemberTwo of my favourite photographers on one show! Great to hear the two of you discussing Christian’s work (can I say art?!), and very excited to hear about Christian’s exhibition. Congratulations, Christian – very well deserved. (Let me know if you progress the Arcanum cohort reunion.)

Posted at 04:36h, 14 DecemberHi Andy! Good to hear from you. I hope you are well.
I am all in for an Arcanum reunion hangout at some point. It will be challenging to get a hold on Martin as he is so busy. Maybe we could make it happen in March/April. I think I might reach out to all the other members and ask what they think about the idea.

Posted at 18:02h, 13 DecemberI’m pleased you enjoyed this Ulana.
I’ve been thinking about you a lot this week, as I just got back from a few days at the Meotoiwa in Mie Prefecture. I know you have a lovely shot of it. I’ve been hoping to get down there for a while, and finally made the time for a visit this week. It was fun, and I timed my visit for a full moon yesterday, so I got a nice variation of shots.

Posted at 18:31h, 13 DecemberThank you Martin. I saw a couple of those images on Facebook. They connected with nature very strongly. Even the one with the waves.

Somehow you successfully evaded my radar. But no more. I just checked your website and there are some amazing images on there. Fantastic work! I will be following you from now on. See you around!

Posted at 13:04h, 14 DecemberMartin – Loved this podcast. Christian is a terrific photographer and a very good podcast guest. He is new to me and thank you for introducing him. The “Confusing” and Echo series were eye-openers and thought provoking. It’s a treat in a time when we tend to look at photographs for portions of a second before pushing the “next” arrow to see ones that really stop you and make you think. Hopefully, Christian will one day have a show in the U.S. so we can see his originals.

Posted at 11:06h, 15 DecemberI’m really pleased you enjoyed this conversation Dave. I’ve long respected Christian for his work and philosophy. He’s modest yet very talented, and a pleased to converse with. Easter eggs are great, right?
I also agree, there is scope for Christian taking his show around the world.
Regards,
Martin.
