I am learning encaustic mixed media photographic techniques and there is a huge gap between what folks can conceive of aesthetically and what we can achieve at the beginning. Whether the scratchings on the surface will be worth it absolutely requires putting in the time and expense that sometimes I don’t want to give it. But, I love it, so I continue. You are right about many things in this podcast.
