I recently bought a 70-200mm Canon Lens Thermos Travel Mug from Canonmugs.com, and was very happy with it.

Thanks to the number of you that they saw heading over to their store from this blog, they offered us a free mug, which I’m going to pass on to a lucky winner, selected randomly on May 30th 2010.

Here are the rules and what you have to do:

  1. You must be 18 years old or over

  2. You must be following me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/MartinBailey

  3. You cannot enter if you protect your tweets

  4. You are responsible for any taxes or custom duties if charged

  5. You have to tweet the following text exactly as it appears below:

Win a 70-200mm Canon Lens Thermos Travel Mug from @MartinBailey. Please RT! Details: http://bit.ly/mbpga1

On May 30th, 2010, I will use a tool to randomly select a winner from all people that are following me on Twitter, and have tweeted the above message. I will notify the winner with a Twitter Direct Message and a regular tweet, as well as on this blog, as an edit to this page. You will need to provide your name, phone number and postal address, to be passed on to CanonMugs.com to deliver your lens thermos.

UPDATE – WE HAVE A WINNER!!

Congratulations to Tammie Chocklett (@tamcho)! You won the Thermos Travel Mug!

For those of you that did not win, if you want to buy a mug, Canonmugs.com have also given us a discount code. Use CM5%OFF when you check out, for a 5% discount on your purchase.

Once you have followed me, go ahead and copy the above tweet and paste it into your Twitter status, where it says “What’s happening?” and then send your message. That’s all you have to do!

Note that you only need to tweet the message once. You don’t increase your chances of winning by tweeting multiple times. It’s fine to tweet more often, as it helps to spread the word, but it’s not necessary and may annoy other people that follow you if you tweet the message often.

Are Nikon user eligible to participate in the contest?
Does the coffee get Canon-flavored if left too long in the Canon mug?

    Cheers,

    Of course!

The coffee tastes much better because it’s L glass! 🙂

I had never seen a mug like this until getting a tweet today from @jtamagini. Cool. The bonus, of course, is that I had never seen your work, which I’m now happily exploring and enjoying! Thanks, Martin!
