If you teach photography on any level, there has probably been a time when you’d wished that you could show your students exactly what they’d see through the camera viewfinder, including all of the camera settings and autofocus points visible.
Creating this from scratch is a huge job. I know. I tried it. It took so long to create my initial Viewfinder Mockup Tool for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, that I realized that I could save you the time required to do this yourself, by making it available to buy, which is exactly what we did.
Since the initial version, camera viewfinders have gotten infinitely more complicated, so our new Viewfinder Mockup Tool for the Canon 7D Mark II has turned into a bit of a masterpiece, almost four times more complicated but much easier to use as we’ve improved in how we make and organize the graphic elements required to mockup exactly what you see through your camera’s viewfinder.
No detail has been left out. Absolutely every option that these cameras displays in the viewfinder is included in the PSD files (requires Adobe Photoshop CS6 or newer).
