An Interview with Aaron Nace of PHLEARN (Podcast 675)

by | Sep 5, 2019 | Interview, Musings, Podcast | 0 comments

This week I bring you an interview with the man behind PHLEARN, Aaron Nace, in which Aaron shares some stories about how he got started and what led him to create one of the most popular learning sites on the web.

I actually was hoping to release my upcoming Mentorship program before I released this episode, but I need a little more time, so I hope you enjoy my chat with Aaron in the meantime. Also note that although I am putting this out as an audio podcast, we actually recorded it via zoom with video, and I used the green screen technique that I discussed in Episode 673 to transport myself into a beautiful gallery.

About Aaron Nace

Aaron was born and raised on the quiet island of Kauai, Aaron Nace would be the first to tell you that his upbringing was anything but ordinary. Despite the obvious perks of Hawaiian life, he would eventually move with his mother, father, and two brothers to North Carolina.

Aaron studied at North Carolina State University and obtained a degree in Industrial Design. Graduating from college, he thought his path was clear to one day becoming an automotive or furniture designer — that is until a six-month-long trip to South America transformed his life forever. It was during this time that he fell in love with photography and its power to both facilitate and share adventures. In 2011, Aaron founded PHLEARN to bring free, creative education to anyone around the world.
