Martin, I am having troubles with your past three podcasts (pretty much the entire Iceland travelogue. I can hear the audio in Itunes, but there is not window and images. When I try listen to/view the podcast on my Ipod Touch (4th gen) the audio starts but then quits and kicks me all the way out of the Podcast utility. I never see the images in the podcast. Nor do I see the ‘bookmarks’ as I have seen in your past podcasts.
Just wanted to let you know about the issues, in case you had changed to something new recently

Thanks for listening, and for letting me know Greg. Nothing has changed with the Podcasts, but I’m sure there’s a reason for the issues you are seeing, probably due to software updates.

If you’ve updated iTunes, you might now have to click the icon in the play window while holding down the COMMAND key on your keyboard. That will display a large window and chapters. Also, note that you have to click the cloud with the downward arrow to download the Podcast before playing it. If you just hit play now, you’ll stream the Podcast, and that will not display chapters. You have to download to see the chapters.

Have you updated your iPod Touch to iOS 8? If so, there are issues with the Enhanced Podcast format. It got a little better in 8.1 but the issues are still not totally fixed. We’ll have to wait until another update is released and see if it works then I’m afraid.

Let me know if this doesn’t help, and I’ll try to provide more advice.

Hi Martin, I’ve just recently stumbled across your podcast. Your photos are very good and love the inspiration you’ve given me and the drive to improve my photos. Wish I could join you in one of your photo trips.
