Welcome awesome photographers that participated in the 2025 Base Camp Landscape Photography Summit!
I hope you enjoyed my session!
Here is a copy of my presentation, including my exposure and neutral density filter cheatsheets, for your personal use.
To download the presentation, register your email here => https://mbp.ac/bclps
You’ll receive the password in the email delivered after registering.
Enter that password below to access your copy of the presentation.
If you don't see the email, check your junk/spam folder. If you don't see it there, it's likely that you entered your email address incorrectly. Return to the registration form and try again, being careful to spell your email address correctly.
If you just want the two cheatsheets, you can download them below without a password.
Sincerely yours,
Martin Bailey

Download requests a password. What password? I’m unable to access the free “cheat sheets.”
OK, everyone that is having trouble getting the password, I’ve updated the instructions above. Please take a look.
So far over 300 hundred people have successfully registerd and downloaded the presentation. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the process.
Regards,
Martin.
Hi Martin,
I was trying to download the 2025 Summit Presentation PDF, but it was asking for a password. How to get a password?
Thank you,
Michael

Thanks for watching my presentation and enjoy the PDF.

Best wishes to you too.

The two cheat-sheets are the same pages that I shared in the presentation.
If people want a separate PDF with a white background, for printing, let me know, and I’ll add a second file.
Please send me the password for the download. Thank you!

I registered using your updated instructions, but never got a password in my email.
Thanks for letting me know Paul.
I’m going to add a separate download just for the cheatsheets with a white background, that will not require a password. Please check back in an hour or so.
Regards,
Martin.
Hi All,
As some people appear to not be receiving the email, I’ve added a download for just the two cheatsheets from my presentation, with a white background, for printing.
If you didn’t receive the email but still want the full presentation, comment here and I’ll email you the password. You’ll need to use an email address that I can contact you on for me to be able to do this. If you don’t trust me with an email address, I won’t trust you with the presentation. 🙂
Regards,
Martin.
As an additional safeguard, I just sent an email directly to everyone that has reqistered, with the password. If you didn’t receive that, and it’s not in your spam folder, then you mispelled your email address. Please go back to the registration page (link above) and register again.
Note that I have checked some of the people that said they didn’t receive the email and I can see from the system that it was delivered. When it is not delivered, it says so. This means that it is almost certainly in your spam/junk mail folder. If you don’t get the password after the time of this comment, check your spam folder, or register again.
I’m off to do some other work now. I’ll check in again later to see if things are OK.
Regards,
Martin.
I am a good friend of Calvin Abe. He says to say hello!!
That’s good to hear Brian. Thanks for stopping by. Please say hi to Calvin from me too. He was a pleasure to travel with. Lovely guy.
Hi Martin, I downloaded the presentation file after receiving the password, however I was unable to open the file. Instead, I get a message that says the file is corrupted.
Would you be able to send the file to me or is there another way to download the file such that it does not get corrupted.
The Cheatsheet file I was able to open, so no issues with that file.
Thanks,
Hi Greg,
Sorry you are having problems, but I just downloaded and checked the file and it’s not corrupted. Your download may have been cut short for some reason. Please try to download the file again and let me know if you still have problems.
Regards,
Martin.
Hi Martin,
Thank you for your response. I tried the download again today and this time the download was successful. There must have been a connection issue yesterday that likely interrupted the download. Thanks again, and great presentation with a lot of good insights.
Sincerely,
Greg
Question…the magenta line in the histogram often appears to blow out in a couple of the exhibited photos. Is this random, and acceptable, or something to be avoided?
Hi Roger,
There are two histograms in the presentation and one of them shows what you are asking about. I actually explain what that is in the video, but so you know, that line is the light from a floodlight catching the foreground rocks in the image. I allowed that to happen because I knew I would remove those rocks or tone them down in post. It’s easy to see from the image, even in the camera preview, what is too bright, and make a decision as to whether it needs protecting or not. In this case, it did not, and the histogram is the result of that decision.
I hope that makes sense.
Regards,
Martin.
Enjoyed your presentation – thank you so much for sharing your presentation and knowledge!
You’re very welcome Katherine! Thank you for watching and taking the time to let me know you enjoyed my talk.

Martin.
