The 7D is certainly a step ahead of the 5D Mark II in many respects. I have just had my 5D Mark II fixed though, on insurance money after dropping in a river. I could have bought the 7D with the money instead, but I chose to fix the 5D2 because the full-sized sensor is really nice. You might want to base your decision on this if you are stuck. If you don’t feel you need the full sized sensor, the 7D is probably the way to go.
7D seems like it is packed with more features than the 5D MKii. now i am having a hard time choosing which one to buy.

Frankly, the 7D is the way to go for me in the nature world. With 18MP, 8fps and a crop factor of 1.6, this is ideal. You can’t beat speed like that!
